Well a 2 day weekend is back for me and what a treat! How beautiful was the day on Sunday?

I went over to the darkside and let me tell you it was Sunny Sunny Sunny and a delight.

Had delicious Food and drinks at The Corner House in Bondi while people watching on the street.

I had to apologise to my friend a few times as I was so distracted by the cafe racers and fixies and slick cars and sartorialist outfits parading by! Awesome.

the week is looking good, there may be a pop up flower shop this FRIDAY 1st July in my shop.

its the weekend!

well it feels like it today!
Even though I am in the shop and it is Friday.
I think life is truely magic. I mean one day you can be feeling like its all too hard and can't one amazing thing happen in your life and blah blah blah...
and then...
you make a choice to meet up with someone or to do something fun or eat something good or walk in the wind...
and...
You see beauty all around you.
You feel the sun shining.
You taste the ocean
Coffee buzzes your world.
People around you make you smile.
You feel like the work you do is worth it
and you feel like you are helping the world to be a happier, healthier, more beautiful place.
Just by being you...
Just by being open...

So to anyone that is reading this post today, I'd like to say "Have a great day! I hope you see something that makes you smile. I hope a friend or a stranger can make you laugh out loud. I hope you feel ok just being you. May the sun shine on you today!"

Superbien does Vivid Sydney

Last night I went for the second time in to see the pretty lights of Vivid Festival.
"a festival of light, music and ideas"
I listened to some of the artists talking about "Play" and their work in the Playhouse at the Opera House.
The Frenchies Superbien spoke and were definately a highlight. Their work is on the opera house sails and they said it was their "most beautiful" project to date. They are a team of seven who are from Paris and work in Graphic, lighting, animation and installation art. I think that their work is so beautiful. We all could have listened to them chat all night and show the videos of their work!
All I can say is GO, see the sails play and all the other fun light things happening around Circular Quay. Yay Sydney!!!
Vivid is on 27th May to 13th June.
There are also some really great conversations going on about creativity and our city, most tickets are sold out but if you rock up you will be able to get in I reckon. Last night there were plenty of seats spare!
