new cafe opened on Pittwater road Manly just opposite Neck of the Woods
called the Troubador
did you know that a troubadour was someone who wrote poems and songs of love and chivalry in the middle ages?

lovely courtyard out the back, perfect for stitching...
the make great coffee supplied by the wonderful Single Origin Roasters
finally I get my single hit in the Manly hood. Yew!
and i got a sparkling water a spoon from Mallorca and half a scotch finger!

Summer hill bazaar was an adventure with penny and Max if you missed it last weekend go anyway there are some lovely shops including the beautiful Sweets Workshop gallery

Gaffa Gallery

if you read SMH Essential magazine you would have read a wonderful article about the amazing Gaffa Gallery women who run this awesome retail/gallery space in the heart of the CBD.

These women are really hard working and this space is a gem in the city.
Go check it out if you haven't already, they have new exhibitions all the time and the arcade project has pop up shops changing monthly and Sterling the shop at the front of the building is full of amazing australian contemporary jewellery.

this was when i had a pop up shop in the arcade project earlier in the year.

Also have a coffee next door and I heard a whisper that they are getting their bar licence soon so you can even have an after work vino!

so the big news is I am opening a shop in Sydney!

things i saw in melbourne

So my first foray into melbourne selling Beattie was a Success!
Clearly melbourne people have style! [cheeky comment]
Thankyou to all the people I met at the market - I had an amazing time and was buzzing on sunday night I couldn't sleep.
Tried to calm down with a montenegro amaro  from The Grace, it was well deserved.

Melbourne here we come!
