Here are the shots from my little Pop up Shop in Sydney's CBD GAffa.

It was such a great day, an amazing oppurtunity for me to trial my first real shop.

It is such a great space and the women who run it are really amazing. The coffee from the cafe at the front smelled amazing all day and the jewellery store has an amazing collection of local designer makers.

This is a sydney Gem and a space I think you should all watch out for! 

and i see there are some ladies writing fabulous reasons why they should get the leggings!

so I totally forgot but it was the 2 year anniversary of writing my blog on 25th June!

the beginning....

In the past Beattie went to uni and studied fashion and textiles. After a stint of Sydney Fashion and then the world of shirts in London she got into furniture in Surry Hills. But her dream was always to be designing and making her own clothes. Funnily enough Beattie was born in a pizza restaurant in Melbourne in 2007.

How things have grown.

There is a Store in New York City owned and run by  Maryam and Uday, called Maryam Nassir Zadeh and it is really something special. I love the mix of vintage and hand crafted items, the old fittings and fixtures and layout of the shop. And the way they display the items is really beautiful and unique. There range of fashion designers they stock is beautiful with lovely labels like Bodkin

I want to go so badly!
Never been to New York and it seems I am going to need to soon, as I keep coming across more and more beautiful, creative designers who are up to some cool stuff there.
